LIT paint night "Winter Wonderland"
Friday January 11th at 6:30-8pm @ the Bellmore Library
LIT invites current 6th-12th graders to an after-hours space just for teens. Hosted monthly on a rotating basis by the N. Bellmore, Bellmore,
Merrick, and N. Merrick Libraries. This month we invite you to join Celicia Cargill of Authentic HeARTwork who will show you how to paint your own winter wonderland at the library! This is a free program. You must register in advance at www.bellmorelibrary.org.

LIT AVENGERS ESCAPE THE ROOM
Friday, February 8th 6:30-8:30pm at the Merrick Library
Help The Avengers stop Thanos from collecting all six infinity stones and decimating half of the universe. This a free program open to those in grades 6 through 12. Please register at www.merricklibrary.org beginning January 7th.
TEEN GIFT BOXES FOR CHARITY
The Birthday-in-a-Box (BIAB) Program serves homeless children and teenagers in domestic violence shelters, scattered sites, motels, and other locations. Our Library will host a drive from January 2nd - 31st to collect the items necessary to build a Teen Gift Box to help support the BIAB Teen Program. We will assemble the Teen Gift Boxes next month.
We are asking for the following donations:
¨ Hand-held Games (Cards, Rubik’s Cube, etc.)
¨ Water Bottles/Coffee Mugs
¨ Sports Activity (Examples: Yoga Mat, Basketball, etc.)
¨ Teen Books
¨ Hygiene/Beauty items
¨ All gifts must be brand new and in original packaging with batteries provided if necessary.
