community service programs
Pumpkin Loaf to Donate
Wednesday, October 11th 7pm
Join Mrs. Kathy to make delicious pumpkin loaf from scratch to donate to those in need. We will measure and mix the ingredients to make the loaves. Mrs. Kathy will bake the loaves and bring them to a local shelter.

Kindness Rocks
Monday, October 16th 3:30pm
Paint a kindness rock at the library! Kindness rocks are stones that have been painted with an uplifting image or message. They are frequently placed in inconspicuous public places for passers-by to find and be inspired by. You don't have to be a good artist to paint a kindness rock. You just need a good heart!

Thank You Veterans!
Monday, October 23rd 3:30pm
Join us to honor and thank our Veterans for their service. We will collaborate with Operation Gratitude, and their mission to express appreciation for the sacrifices of our Military. Our cards and letters will be included in the care packages sent to Military Veterans all across the country.

All of the above programs are open to grades 5 and up. Community service will be awarded to all participants. Please register in advance online or at the Adult Reference Desk.
