Our chess club will meet on Tuesdays, June 6^th & 20^th. All skill levels welcome. Sign up any night the club meets.

LIT: CREATE YOUR OWN GAME OF THRONES DRAGON EGG

Looking for something to do that's fun and free on a Friday night? Fear not! We have teamed up with the Bellmore, Merrick and North Merrick Libraries to provide just that. LIT features different activities, events, as well as spaces to hang out, munch on snacks, and get together with friends. In addition to a craft, there will be a trivia contest, prizes, snacks and beverages. Register in advance at: www.bellmorelibrary.org.

Let’s get ready for summer! Join Mrs. Kathy to make delicious miniature s’more pies. Open to grades 5 and up. Register in advance.

SPORTS COOKIES FOR FATHER'S DAY

Tuesday, June 13^th  7-8pm

Need the perfect gift for dear old Dad? Join Mrs. Kathy to decorate delicious sports themed cookies and wrap them up to give to Dad. Open to grades 5 and up. Register in advance.

BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA

Monday, June 19^th 7-8pm

Do you like pizza? Like to cook? Join Mrs. Kathy to  learn how to make a delicious BBQ chicken pizza from scratch. You will chop and prepare all of the ingredients, and make the sauce and dough. Chef Ramsay look out! Open to grades 5 and up. Register in advance.

Registration for all of the above programs begins June 1^st for NBL patrons. You can register at the Adult Reference Desk or online at www.northbellmorelibrary.org. Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies.

TEEN SUMMER READING CLUB 2017

SRP Kick-Off Party on Tuesday, June 27^th 4:30pm

What better way to “Build A Better World” than to learn about different cultures through crazy challenges in strength, intellect and speed? Join us to kick-off the summer right at our SRC Amazing Race Party on June 27^th at 4:30pm! Do you have what it takes to win it all?  All students entering 6^th through 12^th grade in September can join NBL’s summer reading club from June 27th to August 16^th. As a member you will read books, write reviews of the books you have read, and submit them for a chance to win the weekly raffle. When you sign up for the summer reading club you will get a chance to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar at the library. The closest guess wins the whole jar!
